Sticky notes are the medium, not the method. A wall of sticky notes with no process is just a bigger pile of notes. The Map Your Story Method is a structured, beat-by-beat system built from 25 years of professional experience design, incorporating writing structure.
I don't think of myself as a visual learner. Is this for me?
Most of my clients don't either. My method is created for all fiction genres and all writing types. Plotters love the structure and organization. Plotters say it gives them just enough structure to show them the way forward. And, if you are a visual learner, this is just what you need.
Does this work for any type of book?
The Map Your Story Method works across all different types of books, but this course is specific to writing fiction. The components shift by genre, but the visual mapping holds across any genre in fiction writing. I've had memoir writers use it as well, with just a little mindset shift when we talk about character development.
